Non-Speaking Parts Serve an Integral Role

Each Scottish Rite production needs a number of men to serve in speaking and non-speaking roles. Each Scottish Rite body is always open to take volunteers.

Non-speaking parts serve an integral role in the Valley of Boston. Just as they are necessary for any professional production, they are also necessary parts in the degrees. If you wish to fulfill your Scottish Rite experience here in Boston, become a degree worker. You will have the opportunity to wear professional costumes and stage make-up to shine bright under the lights of the stage.

The April 5th One Day Class is nearing. The Valley of Boston is looking for possible degree workers. If you are interested in becoming a worker for one of the degrees or would like to attend a rehearsal, you can contact the Presiding officer of that body. For example, if you would like to take part in the 12o, then you would contact the Thrice Potent Master.

Valley of Boston Member Spotlight

We want you, the members, to share with us what you enjoy most about the Valley of Boston. In return, we will show our appreciation for the work done on behalf of the Valley by sharing the work with each of you. This is just another way that the Valley can show appreciation for the work their members do.

This month, the Valley of Boston interviewed a degree worker from Mount Olivet Chapter of Rose Croix. Can you identify him in the picture to the right? Here is a hint; he is a past Junior Grand Warden. The Brother in the picture is Wayne M. Vinton.

We asked Bro. Vinton what he likes most about being a member of the Valley of Boston. His response was that he enjoys the degree work. The degrees put on by Rose Croix are considered to be magnificent and Bro. Vinton takes pride in being part of them. The Valley of Boston encourages you to contact the Most Wise Master if you are especially interested in ritualistic degrees. You will be sure to enjoy many benefits and the brotherhood that comes with it.

If you wish to be the next member featured in the spotlight in February, we request that you fill out the inquiry form for us to contact you.
